Core Functions

Female Reproductive Regulation: Stimulates the pituitary gland to release LH and FSH, promoting follicle recruitment and development, and assisting in ovulation induction (suitable for hypothalamic ovulation disorders); in assisted reproductive cycles, it can be used to control ovulation timing, providing conditions for fertilization or embryo transfer.

Male Reproductive Regulation: Promotes pituitary secretion of LH and FSH, indirectly stimulating testosterone secretion and promoting spermatogenesis; suitable for oligospermia and hypogonadism caused by gonadotropin deficiency.

Diagnostic Uses: As a core drug in the “GnRH stimulation test,” monitoring changes in LH/FSH peak levels after injection helps differentiate the cause of hypogonadism (hypothalamic-pituitary or gonadal origin).

Adjunctive Treatment of Hormone-Dependent Diseases: Short-term pulsatile administration can regulate hormone balance and is partially used as adjunctive treatment for endometriosis, uterine fibroids, etc. (requires combination with other regimens).
